"I needed a job desperately because I had been out of work for 5 months, due to an injury. I did google search for reputable temp agencies in the area and wondered which one would employ me first. Advantage Resourcing was very hopeful and immediately sent me all the paperwork, including my I-9. Walter at Advantage Resourcing told me about an opportunity working for Q2 at the Volkswagen plant and asked me to come in the following day. I had a doctors appointment the next day but assured him I would be available the following Monday. I called immediately after my doctor's appointment. He gave me a drug test and PPE and sent me to work at Yangfeng for 2 days and Volkswagen for the next 6 weeks. While working at Volkswagen, I went online and put my application, and I was contacted 2 days later by Volkswagen HR. I have now been interviewed, drug tested and had a health examination by Volkswagen, so I am hopeful that I will be employed soon. Today It is March 14th, and I may be a full-time employee before Easter. It is a wise unemployed jobseeker who contacts companies directly and show dedication and persistency to land a job with a Fortune 500 company.
